Solving Youth Employability Through Conducting Surveys and Vetting Host Sites

The Challenge

ATS required an effective solution for evaluating host sites across South Africa’s nine provinces, with a special focus on rural regions. Host sites play a crucial role in sourcing and preparing candidates from local communities, ready to join the workforce according to ATS clients’ requirements. Previously, the assessment of potential host sites was managed manually through paper-based questionnaires, subject to rigorous ATS criteria. This process posed difficulties in consolidating data from these questionnaires effectively.

The Solution

A survey was designed on a mobile app with capabilities to capture the following :

• Site inspection questionnaire
• GPS location
• Site pictures
• Approval signatures

A dashboard was designed to update in real-time with location displays, key metrics as well as site pictures taken
